José López Chavez
José López Chávez is the founding partner of the firm, for more than 25 years of career, he has advised in labor and human capital matters to companies specialized in the financial field, as well as to legal directors and human resources professionals, guiding national and international companies through labor regulation in Mexico.
His focus has always been to support domestic and foreign companies that specialize in providing banking and credit services to the investing public. He simplifies the complexity of Mexican labor regulation, offering strategic solutions oriented to the specific needs of our clients.
José specializes in corporate restructurings, integrations and corporate transfers of personnel to the financial industry, as well as any labor issues arising from such transactional work. He was a fundamental pillar in the personnel restructuring of one of the largest banks in Mexico, as well as its incorporation into the Mexican market, being responsible for the replacement of contractual and procedural documentation of a labor nature internally and before labor authorities.
He is also a recognized trial lawyer before the Local and Federal Conciliation and Arbitration Boards of the country, representing national and international companies before the Boards and Federal Courts, including the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.
He has multiple diplomas and recognitions, among which are: a) "Human Resources Management" by the Universidad Anáhuac, b) member of the 5th Seminar on Anti-Money Laundering and Prevention of Terrorist Financing, given by the Asociación de Bancos de México, A.C. (Association of Banks of Mexico, A.C.), c) Certified in the prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism, by the Escuela Palafoxiana de Derecho, d) completed the diploma course "Amparo Trial", 2021 edition, given by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, and e) as an expert collaborator of the World Justice Project (WJP).
He acquired financial experience working as an executive and labor legal representative of all the companies of Grupo Financiero HSBC from 1995 to 2010. His experience led him to found the firm in 2010 with the purpose of providing our clients with high quality specialized advice in labor and employment matters.
His native language is Spanish and he is fluent in English.
